GREYHOUND

This Victorian racing dog originally from England was acquired from a Canadian film prop collection. Greyhounds are sighthounds, also known as gazehounds, which are breeds that use their speed and keen eyesight to hunt instead of by scent. All sighthound breeds are extremely old, dating back to the great Egyptian, Middle Eastern, African and Southwest Asian civilizations.
