The Nile crocodile is a large aggressive crocodile that can reach 20 feet and 2400 pounds. It is one of the most dangerous species of crocodile, killing hundreds of people every year. We know from the tag on its oak shield that this crocodile was 8’ long and was killed in Gamba, a town in the west African country of Gabon.
