Losing our canine friends can be very hard. The owners of this mixed-breed pooch were not ready to let her go and had her mounted by well-known St. Louis taxidermist and St. Louis Zoo co-founder Frank Schwarz in the early 1930’s. Schwarz Studio Taxidermy is the oldest taxidermy studio in the country! It has been in continuous operation in St. Louis since 1882.
