Perhaps as early as 18,000 years ago, humans introduced the dingo to Australia. It is unclear if dingoes were wild or descended from domesticated or partially domesticated dogs that later became feral. Though documented attacks on humans are very rare, this guy did just that. He attacked children at a swimming hole in 1956 and was shot.
