TARPON

Tarpons are considered one of the great saltwater game fishes, not only because of their size which can exceed 300 pounds, but also because of their fighting spirit when hooked. They are very strong, making spectacular leaps into the air. This vintage tarpon was caught in Florida, but it ended up in a British collection. It took me a year and half of persistent nudging to finally acquire it for our collection.
