blue catfish

The largest species of North American catfish. The Missouri and Mississippi rivers produce some of the largest blue cats around. The Missouri state record is well over 100 pounds! Catfish are not commonly mounted as trophies and vintage skin mounts are rare. I looked for a year with no luck, but finally found a collector who had several and talked him out of this one!
